While Terminal 1 was inaugurated in 1963, Terminals 2 and 3 were opened in 1986 and 2009. Also called Daraw Airport, the Aswan airport is located 16km southwest of Aswan. This airport has flights that travel to more than 15 countries. It is about 60 km north of the Marsa Alam city resort. While the Marsa Alam airport has only one terminal, it is capable of handling around 1.2 million passengers annually, mostly from Europe and the Middle East region. 7. Borg El Arab International Airport
