Situated in the northern section of the town of Kalambaka in Thessaly, Greece, the Meteora Monastery is a geological splendour of a group of monasteries. The monastery is located in the southern part of Kastraki village and the eastern section of the Pindus Mountains, and it sits on top of massive rocks.
