Mesquita Brazil, translating to Mosque Brazil, is located in Cambuci, São Paulo. It is the oldest mosque in Brazil and considered to be one of the oldest mosques in South America. This mosque was first founded in 1929 by the Muslim Beneficent Society. According to history, after World War I many Muslim immigrants arrived in this district and formed a society.
