Located in the New Territories of Hong Kong, Shek Kong Airfield is a military air base, which was previously named Royal Air Force Station Sek Kong. Built in 1950, Shek Kong Airfield was originally used by the British Royal Air Force during the World War II period. However, they later handed it over to the People’s Liberation Army after Hong Kong returned to China in 1997. Located 15 km away from the busy city area, Shek Kong Airfield is primarily managed by the Hong Kong Airforce. Despite its restricted use, the airport remains an important part of Hong Kong’s aviation history and infrastructure.

4. Victoria Peak
