1. Monumento A la Bandera

This hallmark of the city of Rosario is a National Flag Monument dedicated to the historic occasion when General Manuel Belgrano raised the flag of Argentina for the first time in 1812. Awarded to designers Ángel Guido and Alejandro Bustillo, the monument was inaugurated in 1957. It is divided into three distinct sections: a Propylaeum, representing the futuristic view of the nation; the Civic Courtyard, symbolizing the Argentinian struggle against independence; and an important tower 70m in height from which visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the city and the Paraná River. 2. Parque De la Independencia
