Not one but there are two temple ponds at the Thrikkakara temple. Kapilatheertham and the Sree Padatheertham are the two ponds that are housed within the main temple complex. Bathing in these ponds after finishing your darshan of Lord Vamana is considered sacred. It is also believed that taking a dip in the holy water of the pond is sacred and washes away one’s sins. Also, there is ample space available around the pond where you can relax, unwind and even meditate.
