The Bap Teng Kang Waterfall is nestled in the forests of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated at a height of over a 100 feet and gets its name from an eponymous village adjacent to it. The water drops from a great height and continues into the Nyam Jang Chu of Tibet.

By Rail: Take a train from Tezpur’s Rangapara Railway Station to Tawang. You will cover a distance of about 314 km.
By Air: Reach the freshly inaugurated Donyi Polo Airport in Itanagar and take a cab or a bus from there to Tawang.
By Road: Rent a car or book a cab from Tawang towards Zemithang. The Bap Teng Kang Waterfalls will fall on this route.

2. Gorsam Chorten

This gompa, or a holy compound owes its origin to the 12th century CE. It features stupas and texts of religious origin, and is also a culturally significant place for the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The 14th Dalai Lama had come to this compound for rest. While there are four stupas surrounding the Gorsam Chorten, a circular path is also enclosed by these four structures to facilitate the walk of pilgrims. This place is also largely known for the festival of Gorsam Kora and stands for the principles of quintessential Himalayan Buddhism.

3. Tawang War Memorial
