The Hindu Temple Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam, also known as the Kanaka Durga Temple, houses the deity Kanaka Durga. It is situated on the hills next to the Krishna River and the Prakasam Barrage. The interior of the temple is bright and colourful and the goddess is exquisitely adorned with garlands and jewellery. Photography is prohibited on its grounds.

It is a reserve for a few rare species on the Krishna River. To keep kids entertained, it features a few rides and swings.
