The Kumbhavurutty Waterfall is located near the Aryankavu Panchayath, in the district of Kollam, Kerala. This waterfall is a part of the Achankovil River. It is near the Kerala and Tamil Nadu border. It lies 6.5 km away from Achankovil. The best time to visit Kumbhavurutty Waterfall is after the monsoon season, i.e. from September to February.
