2. Chor Minar

Chor Minar, also known as the ‘Tower of Thieves’ is a 13th-century monument with 225 holes, situated off Aurobindo Marg in the area of Hauz Khas, in New Delhi. The Chor Minar is about 700 to 800 years old. It’s also situated in Narnaul Haryana, 120 km from Delhi. It was constructed under the reign of Alauddin Khalji, of the Khilji dynasty in the 13th century. Historians say that the Khalji king destroyed a settlement of Mongols to stop them from coming together with their brethren in another Mongol settlement in the city, the current locality of ‘Mongolpuri’.

3. St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral

St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral was the first place of worship after the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in New Delhi. It is located in the Hauz Khas area. This parish was established in the year 1942, forming a congregation by Father Mathews, later Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews II. Nili Masjid is quite an old structure in Hauz Khas. It was constructed during the Lodi dynasty era. It looks like a lot of other heritage structures of South Delhi. Nili Masjid is adorned with blue tiles.
