It is the second time that the annual multi-genre music festival, typically held either in Tokyo or Osaka, has moved overseas. 2. Techmission, Transmission & Hardmission Festival

4. Diage Festival

There will be three stages, over sixty performances by regional and international artists, and displays of digital art and lighting, with a few seminars on their way. 8. White Party

One of Thailand’s biggest homosexual New Year’s countdown parties, the White Party Bangkok, is scheduled for five days this year. Two pool parties at TRIBE Sky Beach (a club in EmSphere) and four-night parties at Paragon Hall in Siam Paragon are scheduled. Pulsating EDM tunes spun by well-known DJs and musicians will be part of the celebration, along with a program of theatrical shows and live acts especially chosen for the event.

9. Neon Countdown

The line-up for NEON Countdown Music Festival, which will take place at Wonder World Extreme Park in Bangkok from December has been revealed. Asian food, interactive art pieces, fireworks displays, and performances by well-known DJs are all planned for the event. Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso of the Swedish House Mafia, Charlotte De Witte, Hardwell, DJ Snake, Artbat, Blasterjaxx, Yellowclaw, Andrew Rayel, and others are notable musicians.

10. EDC

EDC is one of the biggest annual music festivals in North America. And it is coming to Phuket, Thailand in the month of January. The event will take place in Thailand’s Boat Avenue Lakefront, and over 300,000 ravers are set to arrive. Touted as ‘Asia’s biggest trance festival on the beach’, Unkonscious will include many events over six days, split across venues in Pattaya and Bangkok, positioning it as trance’s biggest week. The two-day main event at the popular Alexa Beach Club with two stages with well-known trance performers like Sneijder, Richard Durand, John 00 Fleming, Craig Connelly, and more. After the festival, return to Bangkok to attend a boxing match at the New Lumpini Boxing Stadium under the Unkonscious brand, where fighters compete to the beat of trance music, followed by an afterparty at Eden Club.
