2. Mandrem Beach

Mandrem Beach is located between Morjim Beach and Arambol Beach. It is a white sand and clear water beach. This beach is known to be very quiet and peaceful. It is beautiful to look at when the high tides of the seawater rush into the Mandrem Creek. This beach also has a small fishing community observed occasionally near the sea for catching fish. 3. Our Lady Of The Immaculate Conception Church
Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church is a famous church. This church was built in the Portuguese Baroque style in 1541. It was a chapel on the hillside overlooking Panjim City. This was expanded in the 1600s and has the second largest bell in Goa. The interior part of the church is colourful and the main altar is elegantly decorated and is dedicated to Mother Mary. A festival is held in this church every year on December 8th that is colourfully illuminated and a fair is held as a part of the festival.

4. Querim Beach

Querim Beach, also known as Keri Beach, is located in Pernem, Goa. It is known to be the northernmost beach in Goa and is also located on the northern side of the Arambol Beach. It is a sandy coastline that has a few rocks and rows of trees with a river inlet of the Tiracol River. Morjim Beach is one of the most calm beaches in North Goa that is located to the south of Ashwem Beach, and it is also a nesting habitat for olive ridley turtles. 7. Chapora Fort

The original name of the fort was Shahpura, which means the town of Shah which was later changed to the chapora by the Portuguese. This fort was built to check on the Hindu rulers during the 17th century and was contracted in the year 1612. It was rebuilt under the Portuguese in the year 1892. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, located in Parlem taluka, North Goa, was the first church. This church kept the flame of Christianity burning bright. It is a Catholic church that is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. This church was built in 1780 and was initially dedicated to St. John the Baptist. It was again reconstructed in 1841 and dedicated to our Lady of Mount Carmel. In 2000, the church was enlarged and made into a bigger place to celebrate festivals and feast a large number of people all over Goa on the second Saturday of January.

10. Ravalnath Temple

Ravalnath Temple is the only temple in India where Lord Krishna is worshipped along with his mother Devaki. The original temple of Devaki Krishna was located on the island of Chodan in the Mandovi River. Earlier, it was a small shrine, but it was again built into a bigger temple in the year 1842. There is a beautiful idol of Devaki and Lord Krishna in the temple where Devaki is in a standing position with Lord Krishna between her legs. There are also other deities in the temple, like Bhumika Devi Lakshmi, Ravalnath, Mallinath, Katyayani, Choundeshwari and Dhada Shankar.
