This temple is revered greatly by Hindus living in and around Manesar. The temple bears the shrine of goddess Sheetla, who is the wife of Guru Dronacharya. Guru Dronacharya was an important figure in history, known for being the mentor of the Pandavas and the Kauravas from the Mahabharata Times.
