1. Manas International Airport

This airport is located at an elevation of 2090 feet above sea level. It is one of the main international airports in Kyrgyzstan and is situated around 25 kilometres northwest of the capital of Bishkek. The airport terminal has been under construction and renovation since 2007. Reconstruction of the Manas International Airport began on 7 March 2005 with a lot of modernisation of the earlier dated infrastructures. It is expected that the terminal complex will increase from 38,919 to 56,919 square meters with an extra 18,000 square meters. The airport functions 24 hours a day with its head office at the Kyrgyzstan Airlines Sales Agency building at the Manas International Airport.

2. Osh International Airport

This is an airport owned by the government and operated by JSC Airports of Kyrgyzstan. It is positioned at an elevation of 2,927 feet above sea level serving the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan. The Osh International Airport is the second busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic in Kyrgyzstan. The Osh Airport began functioning in 1974, and its international sector started operating in 1992. As per the news reports, the airport’s new terminal has been under construction since February 14, 2025. The airport is expected to undergo major upgradation by 2025 with an increase in the number of aircraft parking spots, runway extension and lighting system advancements.

3. Jalal-Abad Airport

The city of Jalal-Abad is the owner of this airport and the operator is the Manas International Airport, JSC. One of the famous airports in Kyrgyzstan is located in Jalal-Abad and serves the same region. Situated at a height of 2,591 feet above sea level, this airport is not to be confused with the Jalalabad Airport in Afghanistan. Its first operation dates back to the year 1938 as a landing strip in the outskirts of the then small provincial town. It became an aerodrome after 1947 and started its operation in full swing after World War II.

4. Kazarman Airport

This airport is owned by the OJSC Manas International Airport and operated by the government. It serves the Kazarman area of Kyrgyzstan and is at an elevation of 4,289 feet above sea level. Kazarman is a village in the Toguz-Toro district of the Jalal-Abad region in Kyrgyzstan. The Russian IATA code for this airport is K3M and is located on the northeast outskirts of the settlement of Kazarman. The airport is at a distance of 240 kilometres from the city of Naryn in Kyrgyzstan. It started operating in the 1940s as a landing strip on the outer areas of the gold mining village.

5. Kerben Airport

The airport serves the Kerben area in the Aksy district of Kyrgyzstan. It is a public airport operated by the government that is situated at an elevation of 4199 feet above sea level. The Kerben Airport was known as the Karavan Airport till 1992. Its services began in the 1950s as a landing strip in the then-Karavan. The latest terminal and runway were constructed in 1982 and is known as a regional class 3C airport. This is one of the domestic airports in Kyrgyzstan and is near the border of Uzbekistan but still does not have any customs or border checks and serves flights within Kyrgyzstan.

6. Toktogul Airport

The airport is situated in the Toktogul district in the Jalal-Abad region and is at an elevation of 3,157 feet above sea level. It is a public airport operated by the government and serves the Toktogul region in Kyrgyzstan. It began its services in the 1950s with the current runway being built in the 1970s. The airport operates during the daylight hours and has no terminal or instrument landing facilities. The airport had flights to Jalal-Abad, Osh, and Talas till the 1990s.

7. Kanysh-Kiya Airport

This airport is at a height of 6,102 feet above sea level and is located in a village in the Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad province in Kyrgyzstan. It is a public airport operated by the government and serves the region of Kanysh-Kiya. Its operation began in the 1970s to aid the transportation needs of the local miners of the region. The present runway was built in the 1970s but has no terminal and instrument landing facilities. It operates only during daylight. This airport is no longer in use now and is expected to undergo reconstruction and renovation soon.

8. Batken International Airport

It is located at Batken in Kyrgyzstan and is at a height of 3,517 feet above sea level. This is a public international airport that serves the Batken region and is operated by the government. It started as a basic landing strip in 1958. Significant renovation and upgradation took place in 1984 that led to the construction of the present runway and terminal. The airport of Batken was given international status in the year 2014. A few flights are travelling to the destinations of Osh, Jalal-Abad or the nearby Isfana. Customs and border control checks will be implemented soon with an extension of 400 meters of the runway.

9. Isfana Iskhak Razzakov Airport

This airport is at a height of 4,527 feet above sea level and is located at Razzakov in the Leilek district of Kyrgyzstan. A public airport operated by the government, the terminal complex is modelled to handle domestic flights during the daytime. Its operation began in the 1940s as a landing strip near the Isfana town. The services of this airport had to halt in the 1990s due to technical problems. It remained closed for twenty years and underwent renovation in 2007 after which it was reopened.

10. The Kyzyl-Kiya Airport

This airport serves the Kyzyl-Kiya and the Pulgon areas of Kyrgyzstan. It is located at Kyzyl-Kiya in the Kadamjay district of Kyrgyzstan. Elevated at a height of 2,928 feet above sea level, it is a public airport operated by the government. Its first operation began in the 1930s as a landing strip near the mining town. The present runway and terminal were built in the 1970s and is known as a regional class 3C airport. The runway has a weight limit of 22 tonnes but has no facilities for instrument landing and operates during the daytime. This airport has no customs and border control checks and serves only flights within Kyrgyzstan.
