Arjungad Fort location is in Bagwada, Vapi, Valsad district. It is located near the Bagwada fort base village and easily accessible from the Bagwada railway station too. Taking a train is the easiest and most direct way of reaching the fort.
Historical evidence depicts that the fort was constructed during the Peshwahi period by Chimajiappa. It is thought that the fort’s builders built it as a shield, to keep a lookout for any enemy attacks, and to deter them as the Kolak River surrounded the fort. You have to climb up a stone staircase from the base to the entrance, which continues for 20 minutes.

By Air: If you are taking a flight, there are two options. Daman Airport is 7.8 km from the fort while Surat Airport is 78.3 km. From the airports, you will be able to hire a taxi to take you to Bagwada.
