Atri Hot Spring is located in the small town of Atri in the Khordha district of Odisha. The complex has four bath tanks for the public, in which the spring water comes from the main Kund, a hot spring tank. The temperature of water is 57°C and is said to have divine healing and medicinal properties, which can cure skin diseases due to its natural sulphuric water. By Air: Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar is 43 km from Atri. After reaching Atri by cab, it is a walk of 10 minutes or 3 minutes by car.
By Railway: Khordha Road Junction is 23 km from Atri Hot Spring. You can reach there by cab or by bus at your convenience.
By Road: From Bhubneshwar you can take the Nayagarh bus to baghamari, nearest to Atri and then book a cab or walk to the hot spring complex for 2 km.

It was built in 1927 and serves as a reminder of Ashoka’s conversion and being the promoter of peace after the Kalinga War. Every year in February, Kalinga Dhauli Mahatosav is held. It is a three-day event which includes classical music and dance, martial arts dance forms and other activities. 2. Udayagiri And Khandagiri Caves

34 km from Atri Spring is the ancient rock-cut site, Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves, formerly known as Kattaka caves. The ancient cave complex of the 1st century is half natural and half artificial which are of significance to Jain history. Located near Bhubaneshwar, Udayagiri has 18 caves and Khandagiri has 15 caves, which offer depictions of Jain deities, mythology, the lives of Jain monks, and the culture of ancient Odisha. It is a 50-minute car drive from Atri to Bhubneshwar.

3. Nandankanan Zoological Park

Nandankanan Zoological Park is about 53 km from Atri in Baranga village of Bhubneshwar. It is a popular wildlife park and botanical garden spread over 1,080 acres. The park was opened to the public in 1979 and later in 2009 became the first zoo to join the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. It houses over 3,517 animals from 157 species, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The zoo is India’s first-ever captive breeding centre for gharials. It takes 1 hour to reach the zoo by car.

Lingaraj Temple is situated in Ekamra Kshetra, Old Town, Bhubaneswar and is 45 km away from Atri Complex. Lingaraj or Bhubaneshwar Temple was constructed in the 11th century by Jajati Keshari, a Somvanshi king. It is devoted to Lord Shiva, worshipped here as Harihara, a merged form of Shiva and Vishnu. The architectural style is Kalinga and more magnificent than Mukteshwar Temple. The temple features 150 smaller shrines and a small temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati. You can reach there by bus or within a 1-hour drive.
