The Bagalamukhi Temple, which was restored in 1815, is located in the state of Himachal Pradesh and is dedicated to the goddess Bagalamukhi, a devi of the Hindu religion and one of the Mahavidyas. Goddess Bagalamukhi is associated with a yellow colour, also called Peetambara, and so the temple deity is decorated with yellow clothes.
