Sónar Festival is an international electronic and experimental music festival that takes place yearly in Barcelona. It is a festival that started in 1994 and has served as a cutting edge of science, technology, and digital arts in recent years. The festival can be regarded to consist of two major sections: Sónar by Day, set in Fira Montjuïc, and Sónar by Night, in Fira Gran Via. The Brunch -The Park is an open-air electronic festival that takes place at Jardins de Joan Brossa in Barcelona and on Montjuic hill. Every Sunday during summer it brings together top DJs and a relaxed daytime vibe. The festival promotes a family culture, providing entertainment for children during music events.
