The Birsa Munda Museum, inaugurated on November 15, 2015, is part of the 10 tribal museums to be established to preserve the history and culture of tribal communities across India. It is a memorial park and freedom fighter museum dedicated to tribal freedom fighters like Birsa Munda. On Jharkhand Statehood Day, January 16, 2024, the museum was completed and opened to the public, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Birsa Munda Memorial Udyan and Museum to the nation.

Located near Kanke Dam amid natural rocks, this park also features waterfalls, statues, and landscaped grounds, ideal for picnicking. The garden has a game parlour and cafeteria, making it a convenient destination for a day out. Many statues of the garden are carved out of the rocks of Gonda Hill. About 7 km away, there is Ranchi Lake, a man-made water body dug up by the British in 1842. It is situated at the base of Ranchi Hill so you can also hike to the hill and visit the Shiva temple. The lake is so clean that the tourists can see through to the bottom of the lake. You will see boating facilities, making it a perfect location for families or couples to enjoy the whole day in peace. You can reach there on foot from the bus stop or drive for 5-10 minutes.

Located about 9 km from Ranchi Railway Station, Pahari Mandir is built on a hilltop and offers a splendid view of Ranchi. It is one of the few Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds great prominence during the religious festival of Makar Sankranti. The only way to get on top of the mountain is by climbing up a flight of 468 steps. The temple offers a scenic viewpoint which makes it popular among tourists.
