Corjuem Fort is located in the river island of Corjuem, at a distance of 4km from the Aldona village. It is a part of the Bardez Taluka in Goa. A tributary of the Mandovi River, Mapuçá separates the island of Corjuem from Aldona.

By Car: It will take you 44 minutes to travel to Corjuem from Panjim, which is the capital of Goa. You have to travel by road via Mapusa and Aldona.
By Bus: There are a lot of buses which will take you from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand to Corjuem Fort. It will take you around two and a half hours. The Cori Juve Fort Bus Stop is the closest to Corjuem Fort. It will take you 2 minutes to reach the fort from the bus stop.
By Train: The railway station closest to Corjuem Fort is the Thivim Railway Station. It will take you around 20 minutes to travel from there to the fort.
By Air: The Manohar International Airport in Mopa, Goa, is at a distance of 30km from Corjuem Fort. The fort is at a distance of 46 km from the Dabolim Airport.

2. St. Thomas Church

This North Goan Church lies very close to Mapusa, at a distance of almost 8km. The inside of the church is very ornately designed and bears murals depicting the teachings of the Holy Bible. The church is known for conducting the Feast of St. Thomas every year on the second Saturday after Easter. The parish of this church owes its origin to the Franciscans of the 16th century.

3. Bodgeshwar Temple

As the name of the temple suggests, the temple bears the shrine of Lord Bodgeshwar or Kanakeshwar Baba. It is located at a distance of 12km from the capital city of Goa, Panjim. The deity is locally referred to as Bongini and is largely believed to be responsible for fulfilling the wishes. During the winter, in the months of January and December, the temple attracts a large influx of people due to its grand celebration of the Lord Kanakeshwar Festival.

4. Mapusa Municipal Market

This market in Mapusa is a very popular tourist attraction in North Goa. It has been flourishing since 1960. The market spans over a huge area, with around 164 shops and is divided into blocks. You will find a lot of fresh local produce, apparel, jewellery, ceramics, and pottery products here in this market. Most of the vendors in this market are from the adjoining villages of Goa.

5. St. Clara’s Church

This church is one of the most significant Roman Catholic Churches of Goa. It owes its origin to the 17th century. The church’s parish has over 2300 members at present. It is known for its authentic baroque style of architecture which is displayed by its façade. The church dedicated itself to St. Clara of Assisi, who started as a nun from 13th century Italy.

Average Cost of the Trip
It is rather affordable to visit as no Corjuem Fort ticket price is charged to visitors. However, you may have to pay around ₹1,000 to ₹1,300 while travelling from Panjim to Corjuem Fort by a rented cab or a car.
