Devgarh Fort is in Devgarh Village, around 20 km from Sikar town. It is at the top of the hill with an elevation of 2100 feet above sea level. The roads connected to Devgarh Fort Road are Bikaner Agra Marg and Sikar-Harsh-Jeenmata Road, which is connected to Jaipur Jhunjhunu bypass road. The nearby landmarks are Mordiya farmhouse, Matrix High School residential campus, Govt primary school Devgarh, Maliyo ki dhani playground, and Sani Cafe near Modi Dungri hiking area.

The temple of Harshnath is around 14 km from Sikar. This Shiva temple was said to have been constructed during the reign of Chahamana king Vigraharaja I by Shiv ascetic Bhavarakta in 973 CE. It is surrounded by several shrines which lie in ruins. In 1718, the ruins of the old temple were used by Rao Shivsingh to construct a new temple adjacent to the older temple. This is a place for the pilgrimage as well as a picnic spot.

2. Jeenmata Temple

Jeenmata Temple is one of the important religious spots in India; it is situated at a distance of around 30 km from Sikar. The temple is particularly dedicated to the goddess Jeenmata. The year of its construction is unknown, but it is said to have been constructed 1200 years ago. Each year, thousands of pilgrims from all over Rajasthan come to attend the fair during Navratri, which is held in honour of the deity. Jeenmata temple is located amidst green hills, tucked into the picturesque landscape.

3. Laxmangarh Town

Sikar is one of the most worth-visited tourist destinations in India. Laxmangarh Fort is situated in Laxmangarh town, about 25 km from Sikar. This fort was built in the early 19th century and is one of the marvels of Rajasthani architecture. The fort was purchased by Mr Ram Niwasji Jhunjhunwala’s family and now is private property. The nearby area of the fort offers beautiful views of the town and the green surroundings. The town has always been an attraction for its heritage buildings and several temples.

4. Khandela

The town of Khandela is about 45 km from Sikar. It is a place with a rich history and a big and beautiful Havelis. Fatehpur Shekhawati is a historical town with the most beautiful havelis painted all around. It is situated about 50 km away from Sikar, a part of the famous Shekhawati region. This area is well known for frescoes and various paintings representing daily life, mythology, local life, and traditions. Fatehpur is a wonderful land of Rajasthani art, which every art lover should visit. You can explore the Fatehpur Fort and nearby temples.
