Kiliyur Falls is a waterfall located on the Periyar River in the Eastern Ghats of Tamil Nadu, India’s Shervaroyan hill range. The Yercaud Lake spilling waters plunge 91 metres into the Kiliyur Valley. The falls are a breathtaking sight that is just off the main route. You must stroll down the 2.5 km route, and you’ll have no trouble getting up and walking down thanks to the nearby vegetation and birdsong. In Tamil Nadu’s Erode district, there is a barrage on the Bhavani River called Kalingarayan Anicut. It is situated at Bhavani, Erode, before Kooduthurai, the place where Bhavani and Kaveri meet. Kalingarayan Gounder, a Kongu chieftain, built the dam. It is one of Tamil Nadu’s oldest river-linking projects, started to connect the Bhavani and Noyyal rivers. Beginning in 1271, the project included building the dam and canal, which was finished in 1283. Many tourists visit this artificial waterfall made by the dam.

This stunning waterfall is located inside a forest while travelling from Polachi to Valparai. There are a good number of buses from Polachi to Valaparai. To view this waterfall, you must purchase an admission fee of thirty rupees. One of the greatest locations in Kolli Hills is Masila Falls. Go there first thing in the morning and spend a lot of time getting wet. Each person is charged 10 rupees, and it takes around 500 metres to walk from the parking lot for everyone to be able to walk there. Agaya Gangai means the Ganges of the sky in English is a waterfall located in the Kolli Hills of the Eastern Ghats, in Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu, India. It falls from a height of 300 feet (91 m) and is formed by the Aiyaru River. Agaya Gangai is also known as Peraruvi and can be reached by climbing down 1196 steps. The caves of sages Bogar, Agastyar, Korakkar and Kalangi Nathar are located near the waterfalls inside the forest. Agaya Gangai dwarf gecko is a species of diurnal, rock-dwelling, insectivorous gecko endemic to the region.

10. Puliyankombai Falls

A tiny waterfall that spans a seasonal stream that empties water of the Kadambur Hills. Clean water from the hills and a tranquil atmosphere can be found in a unique place. Frequently visited by wild animals such as elephants, Indian gaur, bears, and wild boars, mostly at night. It’s not unusual to see spotted deer, especially in the morning. There are also a good deal of bird species present here. Despite being a convenient escape from the city and a great location for a picnic, ladies and young couples are not thought to feel safe visiting this location.
