Fort Tiracol is a historic province located in the north of Goa. This place was once an armed fortress which belonged to the Portuguese. How To Reach Fort Tiracol

By Road: Travel to North Goa from the regions of Mapusa and Pernem via car, bike or bus and reach Qerim in North Goa. Take a ferry from Qerim to reach Fort Tiracol.
By Rail: Travelling by train can also be a feasible option. The nearest railway station to Fort Tiracol is Pernem Railway Station. Get down at this station and hire a taxi to reach Qerim from where visitors shall board the ferry.
By Ferry: Know about the ferry’s timings from Qerim. It usually runs from 6:30 AM in the morning to 9:30 PM at night. It takes almost 5-10 minutes to reach the destination. It offers a scenic view of the surrounding river and landscapes.

The beach is the ferry point for reaching Fort Tiracol via ferries which run from morning 6:30 to 9:30 in the evening. Qerim Beach is renowned for the watersport activities it offers including jet skiing, parasailing and banana boat rides. This beach is the largest northernmost beach in the state.
