The Hivre Waterfall is located very close to Valpoi City, at a distance of 14 km from it in North Goa. It is situated in the Ivre Khourd region of the Sattari taluka in Goa. The place is a popular trekking spot and is well connected to other parts of Goa.

By Car: The capital city of Goa, Panaji is located at a distance of 56.2 km from the Hivre Waterfall. You will have to cover a one and a half hour journey from Panaji via NH748AA to reach the Hivre Waterfall.

By Bus: A lot of local buses leave from Panaji KTC Bus Stand for the Hivre Waterfall. You can take any of these buses. The Valpoi KTC Bus stand is the nearest to Hivre Khourd, from where you will have to cover 13km.

By Train: The Thivim Railway Station is the closest to Valpoi. You can take a 45 minute bus ride from here to Valpoi and then proceed to the Hivre Waterfall.

By Air: The Dabolim Airport in Goa is at a distance of 69 km from the Hivre Waterfall. It will take around an hour and a half to reach Hivre Waterfall from there.

This place, also known as ‘Honey Stone,’ is located in the quaint Sonal Village of Goa. Monvancho Goonno is the name given to the rock which bore a number of honeycombs in the past. At this place, there are many large rocks along a riverbank. This place lies close to the Madhei River and is known for being the place where freedom fighter Dipaji Rane had settled in the past. This wildlife presents the beauty of the flora and fauna in Western Ghats amidst a protected, verdant landscape. It is a part of the Project Tiger and is rich in biodiversity. Some of the most spotted animals include the sloth bear, Indian Black Panther, sambar deer, leopard, jungle car, flying squirrel and Gaur, which is the state animal of Goa. This Fort is located in Valpoi, in the Sattari taluka of Goa. It is believed that it was erected under the instructions of the great Maratha ruler, Chhatrapati Shivaji. Freedom fighter Dipaji Rane had used it as a base for his army while rebelling against the Portuguese. This temple is greatly revered by the Hindu community of Goa. This temple bears the shrine of Lord Brahma, who is an important figure in the Hindu Trinity of Gods. The deity’s idol presents a chiselled image in black stone which owes its origin to the Kadamba dynasty from the 12th century. It is believed that the idol was secretly transported from the Karnali village to Valpoi when there was a threat of Portuguese invasion and subsequent plunder. This temple is vibrantly painted on the outside and radiates serenity and spirituality. It is located at a distance of 7km from the town of Valpoi.
