Kapileshwar Temple is a renowned temple in the Northern region of India dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple’s name comes from the words “kapala, “meaning head, and “Ishvara,” meaning Lord Shiva. Kapileshwar Temple is in a residential area of Pitampura, in Delhi. The nearest metro station is Netaji Subhash Place, which is a 26-minute walk away from the temple. The Tomb of Sikandar Lodi is the final resting place of the second ruler of the Lodi Dynasty, Sikandar Lodi. His son Ibrahim Lodi built it in 1517–1518 CE after Sikandar Lodi’s death. 2. Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple is another excellent monument located in New Delhi. It was built in 1997 and opened to the public the following year. The temple was built with funds primarily donated by Ardishír Rustampúr, who bequeathed his life savings for this purpose. The building comprises 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in three clusters to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall with a height of slightly over 34 metres. It symbolises peace and unity, attracting multiple visitors daily. The Lotus Temple is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM.

3. Purana Qila
Purana Qila is one of Delhi’s oldest and most significant historical sites. The fort was built in the ancient city of Indraprastha, linked to the epic Mahabharata, making it a site of considerable cultural and historical importance. The fort has three main gates: Bada Darwaza, Humayun Darwaza, and Talaqi Darwazi. Each of these gateways has a unique importance and historical significance. 5. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib

It is advised that you cover your head when you enter the premises and remove your shoes before entering the Gurudwara.
