Established in 1986, Mouling National Park is located in Arunachal Pradesh’s Upper Siang district, with portions extending into the West and East Siang districts. It is the second national park in the state, following Namdapha. Covering approximately 483 square kilometres, it is part of the western section of the Dihang-Dibang Biosphere Reserve. The park features rugged terrain with the highest peak, Mouling Peak, reaching 3,064 metres above sea level. Several rivers, including the Siring, Krubong, Semong, and Subong, flow into the Siang River near the park’s eastern boundary, while the Siyom River borders the western side.
