By Rail: The nearest railway station to Munnar is the Aluva Railway Station, which is well-connected and nearly 110 km away. You can hire a taxi or take the Aluva bus to Munnar. On the way from Aluva to Munnar, the views of the Western Ghats make the journey very interesting.
By Air: By air, the closest major terminal would be Cochin International Airport (COK), and then you would take a taxi or bus from there to Munnar, which normally takes about 4-5 hours based on traffic and road conditions.
