Well-connected to big Indian cities, Tezpur Airport is the closest airport to Nameri National Park. About 220 kilometres from the park, Guwahati, Assam’s capital, is a main gateway with its well-connected airport and train station. One can get a bus or taxi from Guwahati to Tezpur and Nameri.

Located about 100 km from Nameri, the Orang National Park is known as the mini Kaziranga. It has a massive population of one-horned rhinoceroses, tigers, elephants, and many birds. Orang National Park is much quieter, with fewer crowds than Kaziranga.
