Pong Dam, also known as Pong Reservoir, is a multipurpose dam built across the Bass River in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, designed for irrigation, flood control, and hydroelectric power generation. Completed in 1975, it is a concrete-gravity dam with a 24,000-hectare reservoir, providing considerable water storage for irrigation and drinking water supply.
