Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, located in Bangalore Place, was used as a summer retreat by the king Tipu Sultan. Bangalore Aquarium, located inside Cubbon Park, is the most famous and largest aquarium in the city and the second largest aquarium in the country. This aquarium was established in 1983. 8. Bannerghatta National Park

Bannerghatta National Park, located in Bangalore, is a sanctuary spread over an area of 104.27 square kilometres that is known for its large variety of flora and fauna. This park was established in 1971. 9. Nandi Temple

Nandi Temple, located in Bangalore, is one of the oldest temples in the city and is also known as Dodda Basavan Gudi, which means the biggest temple dedicated to Nandi, that is, the bull, who is the vehicle or Vahana of Lord Shiva. This was built by Kempegowda in Dravidian style of architecture. A statue of Lord Ganesha in this temple is entirely made out of butter that takes nearly 110 kilos of it. The butter sculpture is changed every four years and until then it does not change its shape. It is a very interesting fact.
