2. Akshardham Temple

Akshardham Temple is the ultimate confluence of culture, architectural brilliance and spirituality. The temple complex is lush and green and a gentle breeze flows from the cool waters of the Yamuna. There are also separate halls for exhibitions which are managed using modern communication and technology. The temple features shrines of Sita-Rama, Radha-Krishna, Lakshmi-Narayana and Shiva-Parvati. There are multiple idols of swamis and 234 meticulously designed pillars. The most interesting feature of the temple is the Gajendra Path, which has figures of life-sized elephants as a tribute to the animal’s significance in Hindu mythology.

3. Garden Of Five Senses

4. Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple is a Baháʼí house of worship that encourages people across all religious faiths to come together and pray. It is popularly identified by the 27 free-standing petals, made of white marble. There are around 9 doors and the space inside can accommodate around 1,300 people at once. Anyone can enter this temple irrespective of their caste, religion or gender. Sacred texts from all faiths can be chanted in any language. Gandhi Smriti Museum, as the name suggests, is dedicated to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. He had spent the last days of his life in this very place until he was assassinated. Before his presence added great significance to the place, it used to be the residence of the Birla family. You can see Gandhi Ji’s iconic spectacles here. The pillar outside the museum is significant for carrying the symbols of the Swastika and Om, depicting how their usage has changed over the years. 6. Agrasen Ki Baoli

Located near Connaught Place, Agrasen Ki Baoli is an architectural wonder that is recognised and protected by the Archaeological Survey of India as an ancient monument. It was built under the orders of King Agrasen in the 14th century as a stepwell. It has 108 steps, with each step ornately designed.
