6. Rashtrapati Bhavan
The Rashtrapati Bhavan, previously known as Viceroy’s House and Government House (1947–1950) is the official living residence of the President of India in New Delhi. The gardens were first designed and curated in Mughal style of architecture by the renowned architect William Robert Mustoe. 7. Red Fort

The Red Fort, popularly known as Lal Qila is a historic, heritage fort in the city that earlier used to be a major residence of the Mughal emperors. Emperor Shah Jahan ordered the construction of this fort on 12th May 1639, when he made the decision to shift his state capital from Agra to Delhi. The fort is symbolic of a high point in Mughal architecture under the emperor Shah Jahan and perfectly blended Persian architecture with Indian art. The Laxminarayan Mandir is a renowned Hindu temple situated in the city of Delhi. 9. Agrasen Ki Baoli

Agrasen Ki Baoli is a 60 m long and 15 m wide heritage stepwell, situated on Hailey Road, near Connaught Place in New Delhi. It was declared as a protected and significant monument by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958. This Baoli has about 108 steps and is only among a few of its kind remaining in Delhi. You might have seen this monument in many documentaries and films as well.

10. Raj Ghat

Raj Ghat is an army memorial complex located in Delhi. The first memorial was made in dedication to Mahatma Gandhi where a black marble platform was created to level his cremation spot on 31 January 1948. It comprises an eternal flame as well. Situated at Delhi’s main Ring Road, a stone path leads to the memorial. Later the memorial complex was modified and expanded to add in memorials of other notable personalities like Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Charan Singh and Atal Bihari Vajpayee among many others.
