The Inyeug Island also known as the Mystery Island is a small uninhabited island in the Tafea Province of Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean. This small island was visited by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1974 and the name “mystery island” was coined to provide an interesting headline to the visit. The total area of the island is 15.9 hectares and is located 1 km south of The island is surrounded by the coral Intao Reef that extends towards the south and is the southernmost point of Vanuatu.
