By Air: The nearest airport from here is the Goa International Airport, (Dabolim) approximately 35 km. Taxis and car hire services are however available from the airport to Ponda.

By Rail: The two nearest rail heads are Mangao or Madgaon and Vasco da Gama, both in Goa about a distance of 20-30 km from Ponda. From these stations, one can procure a taxi, or they can book a bus to get to the fort.

By Road: Ponda has quite good road connectivity with state bus services from major cities like Panaji (30 kms) and Margao. Taxis and self-drive services are also present; you can also opt for them if you wish to.
