By Air: About 115 kilometers from the sanctuary Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, which is the nearest airport. You can take a bus or a taxi from the airport to Chitradurga, from where you can drive to the sanctuary.
By Road: The road connection to Rangayyanadurga Wildlife Sanctuary is excellent. It takes 1.5 hours to drive there from Chitradurga. NH-48 and SH-24 take about four and a half hours to get to the sanctuary from Bengaluru.
By Rail: Chitradurga Railway Station is the closest train station. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to get to the refuge from the station by local bus or cab.
