The ride is perfect for families with kids. The best time to visit this stimulating ride is during winter, which is during December and January. 2. Singapore Cable Car

Sentosa Island and Mount Faber are connected through Singapore’s cable car. This is the only thing connecting Mainland Singapore with Sentosa Island. The ride has 67 cabins and takes over 8 people per cabin. The 15-minute journey is filled with awe-inspiring views of Mount Faber and Sentosa Island.

3. Universal Studios Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore is one of the most famous theme parks in Asia. It offers 28 rides, attractions and shows between its 7 zones for different themes. Visitors can experience Jurassic Park, and Ancient Egypt or drink the famous butterbeer from Harry Potter. Definitely a must-see for geeks and fans of the franchises. The theme park is open to the public from 10 AM to 8 PM, every day of the week. The entry fee costs Singaporean per person.

4. S.E.A Aquarium

Filled with multitudes of species of various fishes, S.E.A Aquarium is one of the most beautiful and strikingly amazing aquariums in the world. It is also the biggest aquarium in Asia. It is the home of more than 100,000 marine animals of 1000 species. It gives visitors the illusion of floating under an ocean as they walk through the hallway. It takes 3 hours to take a complete tour through the aquarium.

5. Adventure Cove Waterpark

Adventure Cove Waterpark is one of the most important attractions of Sentosa Island. A person needs at least 3 to 4 hours to completely enjoy each and every ride and slide in the Waterpark. The best time to visit Adventure Cove Waterpark is during the weekdays, this is when the adventure park is least crowded, unlike weekends when people are standing in long queues for hours to get inside. The world-famous water park offers 14 exhilarating rides, 7 exciting slides and free frozen desserts!

6. Madame Tussauds

There are only 23 places where the Madame Tussauds Museum exists, which includes Berlin, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Prague, New Delhi, Shanghai, London, Budapest and many other places. And the one in Sentosa is one of the many. The museum is filled with wax statues of celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Johnny Depp, Sukarno, Lady Gaga, David Beckham and many others. Along with celebrities, visitors can also experience the Marvel 4D show.

7. Skyline Luge Sentosa

To explain Skyline Luge in a few words, it is Mario Kart in real life. It is one of the most fun activities one can partake in Sentosa Island, which says a lot. At Skyline Luge, tourists get to enjoy a race on a 4-way racetrack, with hairpin corners, tunnels and slopes. The tickets for Skyline Luge can be bought along with Sentosa 4D Adventureland. It is best to visit this place in a group, or you can join one of the groups at the place.

8. iFly Singapore

9. Sentosa 4D Adventureland

Sentosa’s 4D Adventureland is an interactive entertainment park. It offers 4 rides with different themes powered by 4D technology. The Adventureland uses a 3D screen along with real-time physical effects such as fog, rain, thunder noises, etc. There are only 790 4DX theatres around the world and Sentosa 4D Adventureland is one of the very few. The Entry Fees vary for everyone, depending on the number of people in the group.

10. Sentosa Merlion

The famous Sentosa Merlion is the official mascot of Singapore. It would be a shame to miss it when visiting Sentosa Island. The half lion, half fish has been the inspiration of multitudes of arts and poems. The Merlion facing east is a reminder of Singapore’s origin as a fishing village. Funnily, the Merlion is a year older than the modern Singapore, itself. The name is Singapore was named Singapura by Prince Nila Utama, which means lion city since he spotted a number of lions around the fishing village.
