3. Nidumbram Sree Muthappan Madappura

Just 20 minutes away from Thallesar, this extraordinary temple is famous for cult dances and annual programmes. The main deity, Shiva, is worshipped here. Thiruvappana and Muthappan, two Theyyams representing the Shaiva spiritual energies, dance in this place. This temple’s narrative revolves around the heavenly infant that Ayyangara Illathamma took from the Thirinettikallu stairs of the Thiruvan bathing ghat.
