Thennangur Temple, popularly known as Sri Pandu Ranga Perumal Temple, is a Hindu temple situated in the village of Thennangur in Tamil Nadu. The temple is also dedicated to the deity Vishnu and his consort Ragumayee, in the form of Lord Panduranga and his Lady. The temple has both northeastern and southeastern features of the architecture that are similar to those of the Puri Jagannath temple found in Orissa. The deity, Panduranga, is placed in the middle of a 16-pillared maha mandap within the shrine. Thennangur is also referred to as Dakshina Halasyam, which is the birthplace of Goddess Meenakshi.
