It is located around 8 km from the city centre and their origins date back to the 4th-5th century. These ancient caves, carved out of solid sandstone, are notable for their impressive architecture and historical significance. The central cave is renowned for its large monolithic statue of Lord Vishnu in a reclining posture. There is an idol of Lord Narasimha inside the cave as well. There are a series of Jain and Buddhist designs inside the caves depicting the influence of both religions. 2. Visit Kanaka Durga Temple

The main mythological story associated with the temple is that of Kanaka Durga’s triumph over Mahishasura. 3. Visit Mogalarajapuram Caves

The caves are located at the base of Indrakeeladri Hills and date back to the 17th century. There is little evidence that depicts that the caves might be as old as the 6th or 7th century. The rock-cut temples in the caves are dedicated to Lord Shiva. There’s not much to do besides exploring the individual cave temples and the area surrounding the rock-cut caves. You can also take pictures of the views from the various vantage points.

10. Visit The Gunadala Matha Shrine
