The first to visit tourists’ interest is the 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II, which participated in Prince Edward’s royal procession in Udaipur. The collection includes Cadillac Series 353 (1931), Cadillac Series 61 (1939), Standard Avon Special Sport (1930), Daimler DB 18 (1950), Chevrolet Royal Saloon (1938), Dodge (1930), Mercedes-Benz 280-W123 (1970), Triumph Tiger Twin (500 CC), Jaguar Mark 7, and many more. Except for cars, there are other royal items in the museum. Luxury furniture and accessories tell of the former luxury of the Mewar dynasty.

It contains balconies, towers, mirrors, and the city palace museum. The various galleries include antique furniture, glasswork and royal attire. It excludes architectural and visual views of the lake.

Fateh Sagar Lake, an artificial lake which is named after Maharana Fateh Singh. It is one of the most lovely and peaceful sites in Udaipur. Three islands beautify the calm lake; the first includes Nehru Garden, a lovely and quiet picnic spot with a boat-shaped restaurant. The second island includes a solar observatory, and the third island is the location of the Udaipur Zoo.

4. Jag Mandir

Jag Mandir is an exceptional palace that is located on an island in Lake Pichola. It was built in the first half of the 17th century by Maharana Karan Singh. According to a legend, the palace also became an asylum for Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan before he built the Taj Mahal. In addition, both the island and the palace on it are beautiful and richly decorated with carvings that cover the entire inner red sandstone courtyard.

Saheliyon Ki Bari, or the “Garden of the Maidens,” is a historic garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh for the royal women and their friends. It boasts lovely lotus pools, marble pavilions, wonderful ramps, and great fountains with a serene atmosphere.
