Finding the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary address can be confusing, because the sanctuary is divided into two halves- Muthanga and Tholpetty. While Muthanaga is situated in the south of Wayanad, Tholpetty is in the northern part of the district adjacent to Thirunelli.

By Road: The Wildlife Sanctuary is roughly 98 km, 216km, 502 km and 286 km away from cities like Calicut, Kasargod, Trivandrum and Cochin respectively. Once you reach these destinations, you can take local buses or rent private cars to reach the wildlife sanctuary.
By Rail: Kozhikode Main Railway Station is the nearest railway station to the sanctuary, around 100 km away. After reaching Kozhikode, you can travel by road to Wayanand.
