Lachipora, a relatively new sanctuary, offers a haven for migratory birds. During spring, the skies come alive with flocks of geese, ducks, and teals. The main reason behind the sanctuary’s construction was to conserve the Markhor Capra falconeri. The sanctuary is located at altering elevating from 1600 to 3300 m.
