Naganathaswamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Rahu, Raaghu Bhagvan (in Sanskrit) and is one of the Navagraha Temples. Situated at Thirunageswaram, about 7 km east of Kumbakonam in the Thanjavur district, the temple is now declared a protected site by the government of Tamil Nadu.
