Wat Suan Dok, also known as Wat Buppharam is a revered temple in Chiang Mai and holds high regards amongst locals. Its construction dates back to the 14th century and was done by King Kue Na. If legends are to be believed, a monk named Maha Sumana Thera discovered an artefact of Buddha in Pang Cha, which was believed to possess extraordinary powers.
