Witnessed lush green meadows and the waterfall in its full glory. The misty air and verdant setting offered a spectacular welcome to Kerala.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2:<\/strong> Travelled to Munnar, a hill station known for its rolling tea plantations and refreshing climate. Spent the day exploring the peaceful landscapes such as Mattupetty Lake &#038; Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Museum and Blossom Park.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3:<\/strong> Transferred to Alleppey, boarded our traditional houseboat and cruised through the calm and serene backwaters. Watched local village life float by and enjoyed all authentic Kerala meals on board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 4:<\/strong> Headed to Varkala and took in the breathtaking views from the cliffs overlooking the Arabian Sea. Enjoyed a peaceful walk along the cliffside with my wife, followed by a beautiful sunset at Varkala Beach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 5:<\/strong> Spent the day at Kovalam\u2019s Lighthouse Beach, relaxing by the sea and enjoying the iconic lighthouse view. The calm waves and beachside charm made it an ideal spot to unwind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 6:<\/strong> Visited the famous Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. Also, explored the scenic Poovar mangroves on a peaceful boat ride. From the moment we heard the roar of the cascading Athirapally Waterfall, we knew it would have an everlasting impact on our hearts. Cruising through the tranquil backwaters gave us a chance to connect and find peace in each other\u2019s company. Indulging in authentic Kerala delicacies, especially the sumptuous meals served onboard, added a rich tapestry of flavour to our journey.<\/p>\n<p>From witnessing the sun dip below Varkala\u2019s majestic cliffs to walking hand-in-hand through Munnar\u2019s lush tea plantations, every moment was infused with romance and endless memories. Drifting past local villages, watching the most magical sunset and the delicious dishes served onboard brought me and my wife even closer. <\/p>\n<p>With so many surprising chapters unveiling everyday, choosing one feels so unfair. From cruising past the serene backwaters of Alleppey to witnessing some of the most magical sunsets, Kerala had landscapes that felt out of the ordinary. <\/p>\n<p>Delicious cuisines, warm hospitality and vibrant culture elevated our experience into an unforgettable fairytale. While occasional showers and long drives tested our patience, it also gave us moments of peace and quality time with each other. Each accommodation matched the mood of the destination with utmost cleanliness and hygiene. <\/p>\n<p>The transport arrangements were equally impressive with clean and reliable cabs, driven by a friendly, knowledgeable driver who added immense value by guiding us to local gems along the way. <\/p>\n<p>If there\u2019s one small suggestion, it would be to include a bit more rest time between travel days and perhaps add Kochi sightseeing at the beginning.
