Located in Vadama near Mukundapuram Taluk of Thrissur District in Kerala, Pambummekkattu Temple is believed to be the divine abode of Nagayakshi and Lord Vasuki. Spread over an area of six acres of land, there are five Sarpa Kavu temples dedicated to the snake god in the complex. The Snake god Nagaraja and Goddess Nagayakshi reside in the temple\u2019s eastern part. One of the unique features of this temple is that there are no idols of the gods yet daily poojas are conducted for them. In place of them, there are oil lamps that keep on burning at all times. This temple is famous for Rahu Pooja among the snake god devotees.<\/em><\/p>\n
