To witness the presence of some rare species of migratory birds, you can come to this sanctuary October onwards. There are over 400 species of birds in this sanctuary and the count of migratory birds is somewhere around 100,000. The sanctuary’s significance lies in being home to the white rumped vulture, which has been labelled as ‘critically endangered.’ The Baikal Teal, Black-Bellied Tern, Grey-headed Fish Eagle and the Saurus Crane. <\/p>\n

Some of the major attractions at this zoo are the White Tiger, Asiatic Lion, Royal Bengal Tiger, Golden Jackal, Jaguar, Nilgai, Hof Deer and the Himalayan Black bear. This temple, in Mayur Vihar Phase I, is at a distance of just 2 km from the E-O-D Adventure Park. The temple bears the shrine of Lord Krishna’s Guruvayurappan avatar. The temple takes on an architectural style that is commonly found in temples in Kerala. Gopurams are found on the eastern and western sides of the temple precinct. The heart of the temple bears the sacred idols of Krishna and Bhagavati. There are also several smaller temples within the precinct, devoted to Shiva, Ayyappa and Ganapati. It is best that you visit E-O-D Adventure Park anytime between the months of April and September. The park is closed on Diwali and Holi, but is open to visitors on all days of the year.
