Shankar’s International Doll Museum<\/a>, located in Delhi, has a large collection of dolls that was set up by K Shankar Pillai, who was a political cartoonist. It is located in the children’s book trust building on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg on the first floor. This museum is divided into two sections, which have nearly 160 glass cases. The museum exhibits collections from Europe, USA, Australia, New Zealand, other Asian countries, the Middle East, Africa and India. There are 150 types of Indian costume dolls in the museum with amazing physical features, costumes and ornaments depicting characters like Kathakali.<\/p>\n
