By Air:<\/strong> The nearest airport to Kullu is the Kullu-Manali Airport, also known as Bhuntar Airport, about 10 kilometres from the Kullu town centre. This small airport is well-connected, with regular flights to major cities like Delhi and Chandigarh. You could hire a taxi or take a bus from the airport to Kullu. The Bhuntar-Kullu drive introduces one to some of the most breathtaking views of the valley.<\/p>\n

By Bus:<\/strong> Good roads to major cities in North India connect Kullu. State and private bus services frequently run between Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla, and other neighbouring towns with Kullu. The scenic beauty on the way makes the 12-14-hour journey from Delhi worth taking an overnight bus. The road winds through mountains, flowing down to valleys and courses along rivers\u2014all views so breathtakingly beautiful that the bus ride will seem no less fun to you.<\/p>\n

By Rail:<\/strong> The nearest railway station to Kullu is Joginder Nagar Railway Station, about 125 kilometres away. Though it is the closest, the station is small and needs to be better connected to big cities. Hence, one can opt for Chandigarh Railway Station, which is about 270 kilometres away, as the most convenient railhead from Kullu. You may board a bus or hire a taxi from Chandigarh to Kullu and drive along through the hills, which is pretty nice.<\/p>\n
