Jambuvan Caves, also known as Jambuvanti Caves is in the Ranavav town in Porbandar, Gujarat. It is a mythological cave associated with Chiranjeevi Jambavan, the bear companion. The cave has associations with both Ramayana and Mahabharata. The adventure pathway leading to the caves features a steep and narrow descent and then it has an opening at the bottom. According to mythological stories and folklore, the Lord Rama resided inside these caves. You can also find several stories associated with the Syamantaka jewel, which was later handed over to Lord Krishna by Jambuvan after a fight that lasted 28 days.
